During this time I assisted with the Career Development programming which includes events such as Senior Networking Night, resume workshops, financial seminars and career planning. San Diego State Athletics
Intern
San Diego, California ~ May 2016-July 2016, May 2017-July 2017
While home in San Diego, I had the unique opportunity to participate in a crash course in college athletics by being a part of a rotational program with SDSU’s Athletic Department. The program allowed me to gain a holistic view of the inner workings of a college athletic department by interning with a variety of departments including the Athletic Directors Office, Media Relations and Event Management. Through the connections I made during the rotational program, I was able to return to SDSU the next summer working solely with the Event Management department. This internship allowed me to help facilitate events like Mountain West Conference Championships, Charity Softball Events and SDSU summer camps.

National Sports Forum ~ Case Cup
At the 2020 National Sports Forum in Atlanta, George, I had the opportunity along with three other masters student in my program to compete in a Case Cup marketing competition along with attending the convention. During the competition we had the opportunity to work with companies such as Coca-Cola, NASCSR, ZAPOS and the Las Vegas lights to leverage their brands to increase ROI on their official partnerships. Along with the competition, attending the National Sports Forum allowed me to network and attend seminars from the top individuals in the sport industry.
S(HERO)
While at South Carolina, I worked with the the Assistant Director of Student Athlete Development and the Executive Associate AD/Chief Diversity Officer to educate our female athletes on topics such as the power of language, being bold and the unique challenges female athletes face. Working with our outstanding athletes at USC sparked a drive to fight for gender equality in sports.
Big South Basketball Tournament
One of my biggest projects as a masters student at USC was working with the Big South Conference to create a marketing and sales plan for their first neutral sight conference tournament. This included creating a social media campaign, ticket packages and onsite brand activation with the Big South’s official sponsors.
